Our Partnership with Coffee and Thorn

https://coffeeandthorn.com

It is very gratifying when our work comes to the attention of people who really “get” what we are trying to achieve and who want to contribute to our projects. Since they started up in 2022, the book promotion company Coffee and Thorn has been so committed to helping us in our work that they have given every penny of their takings to support the Joan Davis Scholarship Project and the Joan Davis University Scholarship Project, We are delighted by this special partnership and grateful to all the people in their network who make it possible.

Coffee and Thorn runs book tours, promotes honest reviewing, and provides editing and graphics services for authors.

Their reviewers

Coffee and Thorn book tours depend on a panel of dedicated reviewers, who generously give their time to read and review, and to publicise their reviews on their blogs and social media. They don’t receive any payment or incentives to review, and work independently, producing honest, thoughtful reviews. Coffee and Thorn are proud of the integrity and quality of their panel, and love working with this team of avid readers. They are always happy to welcome new reviewers.

Their authors

Coffee and Thorn is a tiny company, and can only take on a small amount of work. They therefore restrict themselves to working with authors whose work they genuinely admire, and even so, they cannot take on every project that they are offered. They enjoy working with authors at all stages of their writing journey. Some of their authors are multi-prize-winners in their genre, but others are previous “unknowns” whose work has surprised and delighted them. Coffee and Thorn is particularly pleased that so many authors come back time and again.

“I love the extraordinary team that has come into being with Coffee and Thorn – so many great reviewers, each with their own tastes and style and reasons for reviewing, so many talented authors who have come across us and decided to trust their work to us, and our friends at the Paul Hodges Trust, who work for nothing to ensure that these faraway girls, who will probably never hear of us or any of our books, can complete their education and begin to realise their potential. We have such fun running Coffee and Thorn, and are delighted that it can be such a win-win-win. Big thanks to all of you!”
